Send your paper abstracts for review through papers@innovationweek.co.ke 

ABSTRACT REVIEW

Abstracts would be reviewed by the Innovation Week internal team. Authors of accepted abstracts will be contacted. 

PRESENTATION

The accepted papers would then be presented during the Innovation Week. Information on the venue will be shared. 

Thematic Areas

The following are some of the thematic areas expected during
the papers review and presentation.
  • Innovations to realise the Sustainable Development Goals at Sub-National Level
  • Innovations and Kenya’s Vision 2030
  • Innovations for County Governments and the National Government
  • Innovations for Children and Youth
  • The Skills, Frameworks and Tools for Human Centric Innovations
  • Institutional Frameworks to Facilitate Innovations
  • The university of the future
  • Real Time Data and Innovations
  • Technology Transfer and Commercialization of Innovations
  • Role of Private Sector and Development Partners in developing the National Innovation Ecosystem

INNOVATION ESSAYS

These are articles founded on sound theory and have policy implications. They should be written in general readership language.

Innovation essays should be a maximum of 4 pages for all text, including an abstract of 150 words, references, appendices, and figures. Template guideline follows the IEEE format

INNOVATION CASES STUDIES

These are case studies of innovation successes, challenges, good practice and learning from the business world (for-profit and not-for-profit organizations). They are written with structured headings for a general innovation audience. An innovation case study should be a maximum of10 pages for all text, including an abstract of 250words, appendices, figures, and references. Template guideline follows the IEEE format

ACADEMIC PAPERS

These are accomplished, substantial and complete academic research results of a theoretical, conceptual or empirical nature.

An academic paper should be a maximum of 7 pagesfor all text, including an abstract of 200 words, appendices, figures, and references. Template guideline follows the IEEE format
