Andrew Okwara has served with Prime life insurance as chief operating officer. Andrew initiated and led the company’s integration as well as the implementation of the company’s transformation program. Andrew possesses over 15 years expertise in deriving and implementing large scale strategic objectives in both Private & Public sector organisations in addition to diverse Corporate Officer, Business Turnaround, Programme and Change Management experience gained in the Financial Services Banking (investment banking and retail banking), Engineering, Aerospace & Defence, IT, Telecoms, Logistics and Security industries. Andrew’s diverse experience includes: directing global aircraft operations; Regional Delivery Manager for the London and South East UK Fire Service; the Financial Services, where he undertook a number of investment and retail banking roles including a role directing Global Banking operations delivering multi-divisional programme portfolios. The above roles were accomplished in market leading organisations including Royal Bank of Scotland, Lloyds TSB, Deutsche Bank and the Royal Air Force where he has undertaken roles in different countries including the UK, Norway, Canada, Kenya, USA and Germany.
Andrew holds a BEng Honours Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from The University of Sheffield and postgraduate diploma in Management from the University of Exeter in addition to professional qualifications in programme, project, change and risk management and is a qualified ISO 9000 Auditor. Andrew is also a member of the Institute of Directors and City & Guilds United Kingdom
